Sometimes when I'm playing, a little lightning bolt pops up near the minimize/maximize/window buttons in the top-right of the screen. What's that mean?

The game is downloading a couple files from the server to your computer because something small was changed and the information on your computer needs to be updated.

That means data is being streamed to you i.e. patches, fixes, etc.
